we spent our nation's birthday in the booming metropolis of ashdown, arkansas, with our friends the briscos!

after fishing, we got some ice cream and since we couldn't get both kids to smile together for the picture, we told them to make silly faces, which they were more than happy to do! (they were also pretty exited to be riding next to each other in the car!)

the next day we had water fun with the sprinkler seal and swimming in the neighbor's pool (once again, faith was a bit of a girl, lots of squealing and running away, as seen in the second picture.)

and for the 4th, we went to see fireworks at a fairground nearby. faith was a big fan of luke's wagon! they also enthusiastically planted one on each other when we asked them to give each other hugs and kisses!

there was much fun had with a super sombrero too. really, it didn't take much to keep two toddlers entertained!

so our (what has become) annual brisco/johnson adventure in ashdown was again a smashing success! (and yes, we're all wearing arkansas tees. purchased from the ashdown walmart for $5. gotta love it!)
(p.s. i stole the normal group photo from sarah's blog. see, we aren't always crazy!)
The pictures were great - looks like you had a wonderful weekend. Faith is definitely a ham!!! Can't wait for her to come to Florida:)
ReplyDeletey'all are such travelers lately!
ReplyDeleteLove the upside down Faify shot! Glad you guys had so much fun!
ReplyDeleteSup-ide down! Love it. I particularly love the one of Faith and Kevin from the back with her little arm on Daddy's shoulder. She's getting too grown too fast!
ReplyDeleteWe aren't always crazy, but we still wear sombreros... And buy $5 Arkansas shirts from Walmart so we can all be twinkies... Gotta love us!!!
