celebrating america

the ginormo baptist church in town held their annual concert/fireworks display tonight, and despite the fact that we were outside in the dying heat of the day for nearly five hours, we had a blast! and all things considered, the weather was really quite pleasant, especially once the sun went down.

they had music by a celtic band, the church's orchestra, and then big daddy weave played, followed by a fantastic fireworks display! faithy had never been to a fireworks show before, and she was quite entranced by it all. she also *loved* dancing to all of the music and generally running around like a madwoman with our friends' kiddos, meg and ryan.

definitely a good way to kickoff the week of our nation's birthday! can't wait to spend next weekend with our texas buddies in the booming metropolis of ashdown, arkansas!

good times. :)
