this year's garden

so last year, i attempted a vegetable garden for the first time and had a modicum of success. so this year, i revised content and placement and started everything from organic seeds instead of buying already established plants, which was an interesting experiment in and of itself.

and so here it is, this year's garden, so far!

sugar dot corn, yellow crookneck squash, sugar pumpkins

yellow crookneck squash

beefsteak tomatoes

we got this dwarf peach tree late last summer, and look, little peaches!

we haven't harvested anything yet, although it looks like the crookneck squash might be the first thing to be ready. the pumpkins won't be ready until closer to fall (in time for halloween, perhaps?), and the corn has a little ways to go as well. maybe by the end of july?

such a fun little summer project :)
