for faith's first and second birthdays, her zee and pops have gotten her a family membership to the memphis zoo, which we have obviously enjoyed a great deal! well, after a year and a half of membership, zee finally got to go to the zoo with us! the best parts were the new birds and bees exhibit, where you can feed the birds, and of course the merry-go-round!
she wasn't sure what was up with all the birds at first...
then we got one to land on our feeder stick, which was pretty neat!
she was a little nervous about the wings when they flapped close by...
but still wanted to hold the stick herself!
and there's really no explanation needed for the joy that is the merry-go-round...

so fun! i'm not sure how avery would feel about the birds, but I think it looks cool.
