first up, breakfast with pops and zee before they left town.
next, preschool party with fancy pink cupcakes with sprinkles and a new "3" tee
close out the day with dinner, then presents and ice cream with family friends.
sounds like a good day, right?
well.
we awoke bright and early to open presents from pops/zee (a "faith" nightlight, her annual birthday figurine, two pairs of shoes and a zoo membership) and aunt roony/reese (a super soft lavender hoodie and pants).
we managed to get through our annual 7:55 am birthday picture, since that's when she officially entered the world.

we got in the car to head to her birthday breakfast before school, and then...
she puked.
a lot.
so we turned right around, went home, cleaned her up, waved goodbye to pops and zee and then this happened for the rest of the morning.
she *never* sleeps on the couch. or anywhere that's not her bed. certainly not just a couple of hours after waking up.
after her little siesta, she woke up starving, of course, and proceeded to make a full recovery by mid-afternoon.
go figure, right?
so off we went to mcdonald's for her birthday dinner (no judging, it's what she wanted!), then to uncle bob's and aunt lisa's for presents (several books and an awesome snuggle kitten pillow cover) and ice cream cones.

we got to make up the preschool party on thursday with the fancy pink cupcakes, which also coincided with her class's halloween party. she and avery both dressed as cheerleaders, complete with "stickers" on their cheeks :) (and if you're counting, this is the second halloween costume of the year! stay tuned for #3 tomorrow, ha!)

so despite the random case of the pukes tuesday morning, faith managed to have a pretty awesome month-long birthday celebration!
and now we're officially parents of a three year old.
heaven help us. ;)
Sounds like a lot for a 3 year old, but, of course, she is no ordinary 3 year old. Wish I could have been there :( BUT I will get to see her in a few weeks :)
