christmas rewind

better late than never, right? here's a quick rundown of our december! :)

on the last day of school, faith's class had a holiday party!

then we made our annual visit to the bass pro santa. leah was seriously skeptical.

before we left for florida, we had a christmas package from pops and zee!

 two days before christmas we made the loooooooooooong trek to lakeland. i'm pretty sure leah enjoyed her first christmas! she was given a sweet christmas dress, which she wore just long enough to get pictures in (before she pooped out of her diaper.)

faith became quite a lego fan after the malahys gave her a small friends set for her birthday, so she was super excited that santa brought her a big bucket of legos! she has played with her legos almost nonstop since she got them!

and as always it was fun to have all of the cousins together :)

after christmas, we went to celebration for dinner and to enjoy the holiday festivities, including "ice" skating! there was, in fact, no ice, but some sort of surface that allowed for a sort of skating. faith and aleigh thought it was great fun, and we had great fun watching them! highly amusing, to say the least.

amazingly enough, the barlows were in town for the holidays as well, so we got to meet them for lunch at five guys. faith and evie hadn't seen each other in something like three years but were thick as thieves in no time. :)

and we got to celebrate with the johnson family as one of kevin's cousins got married the saturday after christmas. it was nice to be in town for such a lovely event and get to spend a little extra time with the extended johnson clan.
