doubly dedicated

two weeks ago, we packed up the car and drove 14 hours to FL to visit with the johnson clan, and while we were there, we dedicated miss leah at her nana and papa's church. it was very special to have her dedicated by papa and pappy, just like her big sister was five years ago! she even wore the same dedication dress as faith.




then this week, on our 12th wedding anniversary, we dedicated her again at our church! since the dedication at our church only happens once a year, she wasn't old enough to wear the dress zee smocked for faith, so she wore the sweet little dress her mama came home from the hospital in so many years ago.



"I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give [her] to the LORD. For [her] whole life [she] will be given over to the LORD."

    Sweet that Leah wore her mama's dress.........I think you know that Kappy bought that for you. Nice tradition. when she is a little older we need to get pictures of Leah in Grandmommy's little dress.......

    I love this post, especially the 1samuel verse! Happy 12th anniversary! I also love passing on dresses, Julia got to wear her Grammy's dresses which was pretty special. Leah's eyes and just so sweet and attentive!!!
