oh my.

somehow, the entire month of september has flashed by since i last posted. how did that happen? i'll just say we've been busy with out of town guests three out of four weekends and leave it at that, although i don't have photographic evidence for our guests for two of those weekends, somehow.

labor day weekend, my cousin and his lovely new wife made the jaunt from little rock to visit a few days. it was lovely and quiet, we enjoyed our conversations, and somehow the camera never made it's way out of the bag except to take this random picture of the gorillas at the zoo...

next time, matt & kathryn, next time there will be pictures of y'all too. :)

two weeks after their visit, a friend of kevin's from maryland drove down for the weekend, and once again we made a visit to the zoo and then added in a lovely jaunt downtown that included the peabody ducks and a ride on the trolley.

and somehow, again, i ended up without pictures of our guest. but i got one of faith with a monkey. i seem to be sensing a theme...

the last weekend of the month, nana came up for this year's disney on ice adventure, but that's another post for another day! hopefully i'll be better about posting in october, we have lots going on this month, not the least of which is faith turning FIVE!!
