birthday randoms

okay, so i know i've already posted pictures about faith's birthday party, but looking back through my photos, i thought i'd post a few from the *other* birthday celebrations she had! 4th birthday apparently equals 5 birthday parties. :)

her parties actually began in september when nana and papa came to take her to disney on ice. of course, she chose toy story cupcakes/mini-cake. there's def. a toy story theme to this 4th birthday...

her second birthday party was an unexpected on in SC when we made the trip home to say goodbye to kappy. the week was a lovely mixture of sadness and joy at kappy's homegoing, with some great family time sprinkled in! her big cousin molly's birthday was the saturday before faith's so we celebrated with a joint pizza party and a cake for each!

her actual birthday was on a wednesday this year, and i took our customary 7:55 AM picture! too funny how she's been asleep for most of these :)

since she'd had cake the week before, cupcakes the day before at preschool, and was having cupcakes that weekend at her big party, we opted to have ice cream on her actual birthday

she opened a couple small gifts that day (and yes that's christmas paper, hush!) since we didn't want to completely overwhelm her before her party.

and since i always do an annual checkup update, she is a perfectly healthy little girl! she has only been to the doctor three times in the last 2 years, and each of those was for her regularly scheduled well-child visit. faith did an awesome job dealing with her finger prick (and go figure my vegetarian child has perfect iron levels, while her meat-eating mama still struggles with anemia!) and her height/weight stats put at the size of a 5.5 year old, no surprise! (43.5 inches tall, 47 lbs.)

and so there it is, a not-so-quick summary of all of faith's birthday festivities! can't believe she'll be FIVE next birthday!
