preschool days are here again!

after spending the weekend in SC celebrating at aunt lou and uncle chris's wedding, we returned to our first regular week of fall. on tuesday, faithy and i set off for our first day of school.

how did she get so grown up? just last year she looked like this:

my grown up girl. she was so very excited for her first day, evidenced by the "cheese" face!

this year she's in the three day threes class with ms. nicole and ms. donna, and she has some great friends in class with her (although she's already asked why a couple of girls from last year's class are in a different class, had to explain that sometimes that just happens when you're in school!)

as for me, i'm teaching a two day ones class this year to go along with my three days at the university, and so far so good! we seem to have a sweet group that's adjusting pretty well to being away from the mamas for the first time,  and even though i already have picked up a cold, i think it's going to be a great year!
