new layout for the ol' blog

because what would a post about pictures be without a post, here's one of faith and her friend sophie from last week's visit to the pink palace museum!

a while ago, blogger added the super-large picture option, and since the point of most of my posts is to show off my little monster, i gave it a try.

unfortunately, the template i was using was too narrow to accomodate the jumbo photos, so i reverted to the standard large size, pouted a little, and moved on.

then blogger made it a lot easier to make a custom template for the blog, which meant that i could whip up something new that *would* work with the larger picture size! yay, blogger!

so here's what it is for now. it will be changing again pretty soon as we gear up for another fantastic season of BAMA football, but i'll at least wait another month for that. :)

let me know if the super jumbo size pictures are okay on everyone's screens, sometimes what i see isn't what everyone else sees. :) and stay tuned for a recap of our july 4th weekend in indy!
