welcome, spring!

lately, we have enjoyed some beautiful spring weather.

puffy white clouds, blue skies, happy sunshine, all so welcome after the darker, colder days of winter.
(okay, and there's a whole lotta pollen too, but don't let that ruin the mental picture!)

lately, our afternoons have been spent in the back yard doing a little of this:

enjoying the beauty of these,

blowing a few of those,

and smiling at the incredible cuteness of these.

thank you, spring, for making me slow down a little, for encouraging me to sit still long enough to enjoy the sunshine on my face and the sound of my little girl's laughter as a bubble lands on my nose.
